Having been at the vanguard of ‘Infinite Baffle” driver development
For the past 14 years, dating back to the introduction of the original ‘Elite’ series, it was important we maintain this rare solution for those who value the benefits of a ‘no box’ system, as this is arguably the best way to preserve precious trunk space, while retaining robust bass in your car. To this end, we made sure the GT2 series offer excellent performance in this application, and when used in pairs, the 1.5 ohm nominal impedance is well-suited to be driven by OEM factory amplifiers, which typically offer modest power, into low-impedance loads.

Combining the extremely rare combination
of a true, 400 watt RMS power-handing, with a low-profile mounting depth (4.25 inches), and featuring a very robust 11.9 mm linear Xmax (2-inches peak-to-peak), the GT2 will out-perform other, so called ‘thin’ subwoofers, which offer lower power-handling, less
