GTS Series

Unique among low-profile subwoofers, the GTS series features an array of features, which allow it to deliver its remarkable performance, by virtue of it's high-performance “Isobaric” design. The unique properties of an “Isobaric” design combines the benefits of using two discrete drivers, which are typically mounted in an “compound” enclosure system.  This design effectively doubles the power-handling of the system, while cutting the VAS of the system in half, allowing for a single subwoofer to replicate the performance of a twin driver isobaric system – but in a single subwoofer driver.  Obviously, this offers huge application solutions that previously did not exist, in any low-profile driver, before the GTS appeared on the scene.

This unique “DNA” allows for truly impressive performance

In enclosures as small as .33 cubic feet, for the GTS 10.  In fact, this design architecture has proven to be so successful, it has been incorporated into both the ‘Evo’ and ‘GT2’ series, which share this core DNA technology.  Additional features include dual, integrated, radial cooling vents, “black-body” top-plate and an Aluminum pole-cap (“Shorting-Ring”), to mitigate Inductance issues, typically found in virtually all high-power subwoofers.

Where most ‘thin’ subwoofers typically sacrifice excursion and or power-handling

the GTS series delivers a level of performance, in micro-box enclosures, which previously demanded using a subwoofer which required a minimum of 6 inches of depth.   However, the GTS achieves this, courtesy of its powerful motor, but it does not require the typical, full-size enclosures, for optimal performance, as is the case with many shallow-mount subwoofers.
